I always see Hidan and Kakuzu as wolves, foxes, or some other generic animals that have little to no relation to their personality, so I decided to get creative.

Ever since I began reading "Naruto," I love to sketch out my favourite characters as animals that I find fitting (they usually end up with more than just one animal), which has actually helped increase my animal drawing skills, since I used to stick to drawing only certain animals.

So, if you didn't recognize them, it's Kakuzu and Hidan. At first I didn't pay a lot of attention to these two, but a while back I discovered frostious' and mortica's Kakuzu/Hidan fan art and was absolutely smitten. I love these two, they're such great characters with fitting personalities to their physical appearances! Anyhow, one day I was thinking "what animal(s) represent them?" I had found Kakuzu's animal first, which then led to finding Hidan's. Kakuzu's physical appearance and mannerisms reminded me of a brown hyena (quiet, somewhat social, and not the prettiest) and later on, a moose (large, powerful, and also not the prettiest). I felt that Hidan would make a good striped hyena and also a white buck (both are feminine, striking, and unique). I'll try to find my earlier pictures of them sometime soon, and upload them.
